A psychologist has expertise in how people think, feel and behave. They apply this knowledge to help understand, explain, and change behaviour.
At the Nest, Psychologists offer assessment, therapy, and consultation services. You can book a free 15-minute consultation with a psychologist using the "book with me" feature, or reach out to thenest@fvps.ca to schedule an appointment.

Dr. Shauna Reddin
(She/Her/Hers) PsyD

Dr. Shauna Reddin is a Psychologist Candidate who works with adults (16+) looking to improve their mental health or handle situational stressors. Her areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, caregiver stress, adult ADHD, trauma, grief, and life transitions.

She applies an intersectional and feminist lens to her work and enjoys getting to know and integrate the interests of her clients into therapy. Her own interests include pottery, paddleboarding, science fiction, and animals of all kinds.

She is trained in Cognitive Behavioural (CBT), Emotion Focused (EFT), and Dialectical Behaviour (DBT) therapies, and has been described as a validating and consistent clinician. She is currently learning Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She is skilled in mental health and ADHD assessments.
